everjobs and Lamudi conducted a career workshop titled “Conquer Your Career” at the Sher-e-Bangla Agricultural University

Thursday, October 19, 2017- The workshop is part of “Conquer Your Career” campaign and it was 20th edition of it, created by everjobs.com.bd and Lamudi Bangladesh to assist fresh graduates in Bangladesh to break into the professional world with the necessary information about the local job market.

The seminar got immense response from students and they have shown their eagerness for the proper career guidelines. Welcomed renowned speakers such as; Prof. Dr. Md. Sekendar Ali, Pro-vice- Chancellor of Sher-e-Bangla Agricultural University; Prof. Dr. Parimal Kanti Biswas, Dean, Postgraduate Studies and Prof. Dr. Md. Nazrul Islam, Director of Sher-e-Bangla Agricultural University Research System; Anne Maria Hermans, Co-Founder and Managing Director of Lamudi Bangladesh and Alberto Ruscalla, Managing Director and Country Manager of everjobs Bangladesh were present during the event.

Anne Maria Hermans, Co-Founder and Managing Director of Lamudi Bangladesh, shared some insights of her career so far, and provided especially for the female students 5 tips to succeed in today’s competitive market. “In the end it is all about believing in yourself, and once you have a job taking full responsibility for it. They already hired you because they think you will do well, prove them right by showing independence, and dare to ask for new opportunities!”

“An event like this bring a new and fresh labour market approach for young but eager professionals in Bangladesh. We came up with this initiative to bring together job seekers that are looking for a fresh start or a new career direction and HR professionals from top companies in Bangladesh” said Alberto Ruscalla, Managing Director and Country Manager of everjobs Bangladesh.
