The monsoon depression over Jharkhand and adjoining areas of India moved west-northwestwards further and it centred over its Madhya Pradesh and adjoining areas at 6pm on Thursday as a land depression.

All fishing boats and trawlers over the North Bay have been advised to remain close to the coast and proceed with caution until further notice.
